GPI’s Top Players to Become Bay 101 Shooting Stars

Elite players will receive VIP treatment and other perks.

  • Five of the players will be selected from this year’s Player of the Year leaderboard with another five coming from the GPI 300 Rankings.
  • The “elite” players will receive VIP treatment throughout the 2015 event such as a private jet transfer from either Las Vegas or Los Angeles and the ability to earn appearance fees.

Inaugural Charity Series of Poker Event Kicks-Off July 6

CSOP Event #1 will take place at Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas.

  • The Charity Series of Poker will hold its first event on Sunday, July 6 at 5:00pm, as part of the Planet Hollywood Phamous Poker Series in Las Vegas.
  • Founder Matt Stout hopes to eventually host three to four events in the US by 2016 with the possibility of holding tournaments in Europe and Australia.

  • The “partypoker presents: WPT500 at ARIA Resort & Casino” has been rescheduled for July 4 to July 9, which puts its head to head with the first few days of the WSOP Main Event.
  • The $565 buy in event guarantees $1m in prize money, and should be attractive to players who have stayed in Las Vegas to watch the later stages of the WSOP.
  • From June 11 until the WPT500, the Aria is running a series of lower buy-in events that will compete with the Daily Deep Stack (non-bracelet) events at the Rio.
