The New Jersey Absentees: PokerStars, Wynn, 2UP Gaming

Transactional waivers may still be forthcoming ahead of November 26 launch, the DGE assures.

  • Most notable of those yet to receive the green light from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is Rational Group, parent company of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
  • Wynn Interactive is also notably absent from the list.
  • A less surprising absentee is UK-based 2UP Gaming plc, that had announced that it was pursuing a hotel casino property in Atlantic City} after receiving a commitment from an unnamed Asian Investment group.

Paddy Power, Pala, Betable Seek New Jersey Partner

  • Along with the transaction waivers issued, other operators were approved subject to finding a partner.

Two employees and two customers were arrested at the Ocean Club which had generated 36m Yen in six months. Earlier this week Tokyo police raided an illegal casino in the Ueno district, arresting the manager Takashi Higa and an employee, Mariko Koito as well as two customers.

Only a small rise overall, but there were notable exceptions: Full Tilt Poker had a knockout week to celebrate the first anniversary since re-launching, up over 20%. PartyPoker also did well up 5.3% with Winamax.FR seeing a similar 5.4% rise.
