Another real-money online poker site launches in the US.

Full Tilt Claims Website Live: Players Can Log In, Check Balances

The Garden City Group has opened up a secure website for filing petitions. US players awaiting refunds of their Full Tilt Poker money who have received an email over the last two days can now log in and check their balance, and accept or dispute the amount.

  • Players can either accept the amount—in which case, bank and tax details must be provided—or dispute the amount provided by GcG.
  • Early player reports indicate that full tilt points and tournament tickets are not included in the balance total.
  • To complete the submission of the petition, players must certify that they are eligible to participate in the remission process.
  • Players are required to meet a substantial list of criteria including having actually deposited funds on Full Tilt and not having been a past or present vendor of FTP that received compensation through FTP players’ accounts.

World Poker Tour Championship Moves to Borgata

  • The World Poker Tour announced that its most prestigious event of Season XII, the $25k WPT World Championship, will be held at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City in 2014.
  • The move from Nevada to New Jersey marks the first time in 12 years that the WPT will not hold its championship event at the Bellagio.
