New Jersey Gaming Regulator Hands Down Decision on Borgata Chipgate
Thousands to receive refunds and the remaining 27 players to equally divide remaining prize fund as a result of counterfeit chips discovered in major poker tournament.
- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has issued its final order following an investigation of the Borgata Winter Open.
- The DGE set out a complex plan to redistribute the remaining prize funds together with the $288k in entry fees which the Borgata has contributed.
- Players who were in the final 27 will receive $19,323 each.
Unibet Releases iPad App in European Markets
The new iOS app is restricted to specific countries, although availability in more markets is promised soon.
- Again Unibet has met a promised launch date, as it releases its new iOS application which can now be downloaded from the iTunes store.
- The app is restricted to iPads, not iPhones, and is available to players in Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
