Americas Cardroom Adds Bitcoin Deposits

Today’s cashier upgrade allows Bitcoin deposits but not withdrawals which remain in US$.

  • Americas Cardroom on the Winning Poker Network has become the latest and largest online poker room to accept Bitcoin deposits.
  • Bitcoin deposits will be converted to $US for play at the tables.
  • There is currently no option in the cashier to withdraw in Bitcoin but sources indicate the option is currently in development.

EPT Deauville Schedule Includes 45 Events Plus the France Poker Series Grand Final

The EPT returns to the Casino Barriere in Deauville for the seventh year and plays host to the GPI European Poker Awards.

  • The European Poker Tour (EPT) has announced a 45 event schedule for this year’s EPT10 Deauville Festival starting on January 22.
  • The EPT events will be joined by the France Poker Series (FPS) Season 3 Grand Final from January 22 – 26.
  • The Global Poker Index will use the event to host its 12th GPI European Poker Awards ceremony on January 29.

Full Tilt Releases New Fast-Fold Variant “Adrenaline Rush”

Full Tilt Poker launched its latest innovation in online poker, “Adrenaline Rush,” Tuesday, in a software update that also included the first stage of a staggered roll out of casino games.

  • All Adrenaline Rush tables are 4-handed and all action takes place preflop.
  • Betting is capped at 10 big blinds with buyins ranging from 5 to 10 big blinds.

Full Tilt Casino Games Debut

Real money roulette and blackjack games available for some customers in staggered rollout.

  • Images and sound assets pushed out to poker customers suggest Full Tilt is readying launch of “Full Tilt Gaming.”
  • Blackjack and roulette will apparently be the first two games available to players.
  • Currently no way to launch the casino product.

Skrill No Longer an Option on Adjarabet

The Georgian poker room has gone dark on 2+2 with no explanations given to players.

  • East European site Adjarabet has removed the option to deposit and withdraw via Skrill from its cashier.
  • The unofficial Adjarabet representative on 2+2 has failed to respond to complaints and made no response to a request for comment from pokerfuse.
  • Unofficial 2+2 rep “nochapis” explained that he had been ill for a couple of weeks. He promised to address outstanding questions and PMs within 24 hours, but has not returned to the Adjarabet thread since December 30.

Now though, Monster hangs with a new crew: Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten (V.V.P) and the entire World Poker Tour posse. That’s right, the World Poker Tour picked up a new sponsor and now Monster Headphones are the official headphone of the WPT.

In fact, it made such an impression that, with 27% of the votes, she captured the Bluff Magazine Reader’s Choice selection for Breakout Performer. But last month she made headlines of a more controversial nature when it was revealed that she was performing one of the biggest no-no’s of online poker: borrowing accounts/multi-accounting.

That’s right, in order to install the app, Bluff insists you let it control the vibrator on your mobile device along with accessing your text messages, your geolocation, read all your contacts info and take pictures (presumably of you enjoying the vibrations),
