A New Episode of The Micros Coming Soon: This Week in Poker Podcasts A New Episode of The Micros Coming Soon: This Week in Poker Podcasts

This week I’d like to welcome Badugi All-Stars back to the poker podcast directory. After a few months off, they will be sticking to a regular schedule and releasing a new show every other week.

Their latest episode features Jay “Krantz” Rosenkrantz, writer, producer and co-founder of Deuces Cracked. Krantz reveals that a brand new episode of his immensely popular web show, The Micros, will be released in the next week or two, with a new sponsor on a one-episode trial basis.

Anyone interested in what goes into the writing of The Micros won’t want to miss this interview. Jay touches on some of the challenges that exist when preparing a one-off episode versus writing an episode as part of a full season.

He also talks about another of his projects: BOOM. He shares his opinion on how BOOM will differ from the recently released “All In, the Poker Movie” and provides a filmmaker’s insight into the making of a documentary.

If you are still trying to make sense of the recent news involving the purchase of Full Tilt, give a listen to this week’s episode of Rabbit Hunt. Mark and Matt examine the issue from all angles and provide their opinions on this hot news topic.

I found the part of the discussion that revolved around the reported terms of the now-defunct GBT deal to be especially interesting. Matt explains why some of the outrage from the poker community over the proposed deal by GBT is not warranted in his eyes. That segment of the show alone makes this episode worth the listen.

Another recent newcomer to the Pokerfuse Poker Podcast Directory tops my list of shows for the week. 2 Guys Talking Poker features guest poker player and mainstream poker media personality Bernard Lee. Bernard is very entertaining and his experience both on the felt and behind the scenes had me captivated for the entire interview.

Besides the perspective, another aspect that separates his stories from other notable players is the delivery. Bernard’s personality is much more apparent on this side of the mic than it is when he is the interviewer. And the interview style of Nick and Andy lends itself perfectly to this type of discussion and adds to the overall entertainment of the show.
