This week plenty of podcasters are focusing on the summer classic, but let’s start with the history. Moneymaker sits down with Lee and tells the story of getting to and winning the historic Main Event in 2003.

Chris Moneymaker also visits with Andrew Feldman on ESPN: The Poker Edge where Chris reflects on what his life would have been like if he didn’t win the Main Event. Feldman also probes deep into a variety of topics and allows his audience to get to know another less-popular side of Moneymaker.

Feldman also interviews Eric Raskin about his epic piece When We Held Kings which presents the oral history of the 2003 World Series of Poker. Raskin talks about the interviews that made up the story and about parts of the article that didn’t make the final cut. One of the stories that didn’t make the final piece involved Lon McEachern.

It’s a great article and a very interesting interview. And if that wasn’t enough, Feldman also talks with the reigning world champ Greg Merson.
