Amaya CEO David Baazov has told the Canadian Financial Post that he plans to expand the company beyond gaming.

“We believe we are a tech company at heart. Where we plan to go with this is not just gaming,” he is reported as saying in the Canadian Financial Post. “We’re excited about leveraging technology in order to acquire more consumers, but not to push them towards gambling — to give them what they want.”

He gave no clues as to the type of additional services he plans to offer his customer base which is not far short of 100 million.
