The legislative session in California is not over for the year and neither are PokerStars’ efforts to have online poker regulated in the state.

The company recently launched a new publicity campaign which includes having its sponsored pros such as Daniel Negreanu and Chris Moneymaker tour the state to meet fans and raise awareness of the need for regulated online poker.

A recent study commissioned by All In magazine shows that of the 1500 California residents surveyed, two thirds of the respondents are in favor of regulating online poker as a means to generate tax revenue for the state.
