As expected, the WSOP drew the most interest this week as the 44th Annual World Series of Poker kicked off and the online software for WSOP.com was released to the public. Only play-money games are available, but the story that garnered the third most attention tells of players that were accidentally allowed to play for real-money soon after the release of the software.
Coming in second this week was the news that Viktor “Isildur1” Blom won the SCOOP main event and $1.1m in prize money.
