Playtech half year results show a 33% gain in reported revenues over the same period in 2014. 40% of revenues now come from regulated markets, up from 35% in the first half last year.
Tax took its toll on profits, with the UK point of consumption tax costing the company €8.1 million in the first six months of the year.
Reported profits of €84 million are around 10% lower as the result of the introduction of the tax, however strong growth meant that they were still 11% higher than the first half of 2014.
