Known by many around the word as Jesse Pinkman from the hit TV series Breaking Bad, Emmy award winner Aaron Paul joins the LA Sunset Global Poker League Team as the final wildcard pick.

He is the first celebrity to be drafted in the League and joins Team Manager Maria Ho to complete the LA Sunset team.

“I love Poker as a game and mindsport so I’m excited to be part of this new eSports League” remarked Paul in a recent GPL post. “Representing the LA Sunset together with some of the best players in the world should be a blast.”

“We’ve had a lot of opportunities to include celebrities that happen to also be talented players, but in my experience Aaron is one of the most committed to the sport of poker right now,” said Maria Ho. “He wants to learn and beat the best. He’s an amazing addition to the LA Sunset and I’m hoping he’ll end up being a pivotal part of our team being a winning hand.”

Paul will be playing with the LA Sunset throughout the season which will feature a Summer Series, Playoffs and a Final in Wembley Stadium, in the UK.

The LA Sunset Team is currently in 4th place in the Americas standings but is due to play again today, with Fedor Holz battling it out against the rest of the Americas.

As always all matches will be live streamed on GPL.TV, Twitch, PokerCentral and PokerStars.tv and tickets for the Championship, which is scheduled for November, will be available to buy starting in May.
