Respected tournament director Matt Savage has been released from hospital after an operation which has saved him from becoming paralyzed.

Matt injured himself on a water slide, and an MRI scan revealed severely pinched nerves in his neck. A diagnosis of Cervical Stenosis brought fears that he could be paralyzed if surgery failed to solve the problem.

Fortunately, the surgery was a success, and he has tweeted a picture of his triumphant exit from hospital.

Matt is an Executive Tour Director of the World Poker Tour, Founder of the Tournament Directors Association (TDA), Tournament Director at the Commerce casino and many other venues worldwide.
