Minted Poker, the former flagship skin on the Everleaf Gaming Network, has announced its relocation to the fledgling Plutos Network. Old players have been offered effectively a 100% rakeback deal to “unlock” their previous cash balances.

Minted’s departure from Everleaf came after Minted’s owners alleged nonpayment by Everleaf, and has claimed the network holds all player balances.

Everleaf stopped serving US players without providing adequate channels for those players to retrieve their bankrolls, resulting in a virtual seizure. Cashouts to non-US players are also heavily delayed.

Everleaf’s regulatory overseer, Malta’s LGA, has claimed “the great majority” of players have been cashed out and that player complaints were “affiliates disguising themselves as players”. However, no-cashout reports continue.

Minted’s jump to Plutos includes the offering of a 100% rake-through requirement for its existing customers and their suspended balances. Similar deals have been offered following site closures in the past, including ENET’s offer to Bluff Gaming players (although later reneging on this deal) and Gutshot’s offer when it relaunched.

Minted previously alleged that its domain name, MintedPoker.EU, was under control by the network, explaining why they could not communicate with players through support email. This dispute has apparently been resolved given its relaunch on the same domain.

Players will likely find it difficult to clear their previous balances in any reasonable time frame, given Plutos’ tiny traffic load to date.

Plutos, which was created in December, 2012 and went live in February, currently offers only a few tables of action, even at peak times. The new network claims licensing by the Curacao Gambling Authority. Other rooms on the network include “Black Room Poker,” “VBet” and “WinPkr.”

According to the terms and conditions on these skins, and from the player account sign-up forms, players from within the United States are not permitted to play. So this 100% rakeback deal is likely not extended to a large number of its affected playerbase.
