Online gaming giant Betsson may be best known for its sports book, but the operator has also carved out a strong position in European online poker.

The company runs five online poker rooms on MPN—Betsson, Betsafe, Triobet, Nordicbet and Bets10—cornering key online poker markets. And with the recent acquisition of the Georgian Europe-bet, it now also has its own top 20 online poker network.

Betsson recently doubled down on its commitment to MPN, closing companion Ongame skins to focus on a single European network. We talked to Adam Vella, Betsson’s Head of Poker, about this decision and his plans for online poker’s future.
