Online gaming revenue in Connecticut ticked up in August, with the four licensees reporting a combined $17.7 million in revenue, according to data reported by the CT Gaming Commission. This is the best month in the last four.
DraftKings remains the leading operator, and there was little change in the make-up of the market: It claimed a 55% market share, a shy less than prior months but broadly in line with where it has been since the market opened in October 2021. FanDuel’s share was at 44%, ticking up slightly.
While on reservation igaming at the Mashantucket (Western) Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN) may not stand out in the charts when put alongside the Big Two, August was a huge month for the operator. It generated revenue of $145k — over ten times the prior month, and four times its previous all-time high. It claimed almost a percentage point of Connecticut online gambling market revenue.
