The Pennsylvania online poker remains in decline, though figures February are an improvement over recent months, the latest data from the PA Gaming Control Board show.

The four licensed operators in the state reported a combined $2.7 million in revenue last month, down on the $2.9 million reported on January 2023. Compared to the same month a year ago, it is down 8%, though that is better annual performance than the falls of 14%-15% reported in the prior two months.

PokerStars PA on the Mount Airy license leads the market with a healthy market share of 60%; a notable drop on recent months though an improvement on February 2022.

WSOP, on the Harrah’s license, remains firmly in second place, and grew revenue month-over-month to $605k to take a 23% market share, its best since last August. However, a year ago it was much stronger, with revenue of $878k and a market share north of 30%.

Meanwhile, the much smaller BetMGM (Hollywood) and Borgata (Rivers-Philadelphia) both continue to grow year-over-year. The pair make up only 17% of the market, but that is up 5 percentage points on a year ago. BetMGM, in particular, is up an impressive 26% on a year ago.

In online casino, the market remains down on the December market high, but operators reported a combined $129 million in revenue, up a healthy 30% year-over-year.
