The New Jersey online poker market reported another month of growth in February. Operators reported a combined $2.3 million in revenue, up 2.5% on the same month a year ago. It is the second full month with PokerStars Michigan poker players connected to the New Jersey player pool, and the impact can still be seen clearly in the data.

PokerStars had an especially strong February. With revenue of $878k, it was down on January but up 75% on February a year ago — better performance than January, which grew 46%. In fact, last month was PokerStars’ strongest February since 2017.

The other two operators suffered. Borgata (which includes BetMGM and partypoker) was down 21%, and Caesars (WSOP and 888) fell 16%.

Online casino revenue hit a six-month low, with operators reporting a combined $140 million, $10 million below January’s figure. Year-over-year, the market is up almost 10%, though that is the first time in market history — dating back to 2014 — the market was up only single digits.
