The purpose of an isolation raise is to single out a weak player who open limps. You want all other players to fold to your raise. In poker, isolating the fish is one of the most important concepts a new player will need to grasp. This strategy will make you a lot of money. It should be pretty obvious why you want to play pots heads-up against a fish. If you’re the better player, the more you play heads-up against a bad player, the more you will make in the long run.

Hunter Bick (NLHE): The Hud-less Horseman: Part 1
Rolling hud-less on Bovada with a $100nl hu match vs. an aggressive, TAG-ish player. The match in general has a lot of action, but part 1 sees several all-ins with many stacks going back and forth between us. My opponent set the tone early with frequent 3-betting, and I fought back with a somewhat light shove and a light calldown. We also both picked up some good hands along the way.
