The encouraging growth Traffic Insight reported last week evaporated entirely, with global cash game traffic falling 3.9% this week, taking the market to its lowest point of 2015.
Every market except Italy and Spain saw reductions in cash game traffic. The fall was general, with very few poker rooms going against trend. In the US offshore market, Bodog was the only room to gain traffic, which was enough to put it back into third place in the global rankings.
Even in Italy and Spain, the gains were almost all due to PokerStars, which has been actively promoting its regional Spring Championships of Online Poker.
