Harry Reid continues to try and squeeze every last ounce of benefit out of the battle over online gaming in the US by playing both sides of the fence. Reid made comments this week threatening to support a ban of online poker, but he tripped over himself in an effort to leave a little wiggle room.

“Unless we can get something done with poker, I’m going to look closely — I haven’t made up my mind — but I’m going to look closely into banning it totally,” Reid said. “I’m going to take a hard look at it. It would be something I would certainly consider strongly.”
