The East Coast Gaming Congress & iGaming Institute

The East Coast Gaming Congress took place last week at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey where one of the highlights was made by David Rebuck, Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement during the “Roadmap for the Future” session.

Rebuck dispelled many of the myths being propagated by opponents of online gaming by making it known that online gaming is more effectively regulated than that of land-based gaming, it does not cannibalize land-based gaming and the model for regulation used in New Jersey is easily adaptable to accommodate igaming and other states.

In fact, it was estimated that states willing to partner with New Jersey could be up and running with online gaming within 90 to 100 days.
