PokerStars is completely overhauling its VIP program for 2016. FPPs are now StarsCoins, SuperNova Elite is on its way out, and all rewards will be capped at an effective 30% rakeback. The site is also removing all rewards for high stakes tables, and promises further restrictions on third party tools.

Meanwhile, the success of Spin and Gos continues thanks to an anniversary week celebration that crowned so many millionaires that PokerStars issued a joke press release announcing the “surprising development” that 48 hours had passed without a new millionaire crowned.
“Everything is definitely working correctly. I know it seems crazy, but somehow we just didn’t make a millionaire these last two days,” said a bemused Lee Jones, Director of Poker Communications for PokerStars.
