Amaya

In line with the extensive license conditions demanded by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), PokerStars has emailed its database of New Jersey players who may still have outstanding balances at the poker room.

If players do not claim their balances by December 28, 2015, the cash will be sent to the Unclaimed Property Department. Players with balances below $1 are asked to donate the money to the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey.

The repayment date suggests that PokerStars is not planning to launch in New Jersey until after December 28, since it must be compliant with the requirement to return unclaimed funds before it begins the mandatory five-day soft launch under DGE regulations.
