The global cash game traffic market fell by 0.8% on the week, giving up all of last week’s gains. The dominant position that PokerStars occupies makes the total market figures heavily dependent on its performance. This week it dropped 1% of its traffic.

Winamax dropped back out of the global top five rankings, but may be able to hold on to 6th position. PokerStars Italy returned to its fifth place position after two weeks where Winamax managed to fill more seats at its French regulated cash game tables.

Across the different markets cash game traffic put in a mixed-bag performance. France fell, but Italy and Spain both showed gains. Similarly in the US, New Jersey had another excellent week, but Nevada & Delaware gave up some of the gains they appear to have got from the WSOP Main Event Final Table TV coverage.
