The Italian Stability Law has passed its first reading in the Senate. The law which establishes Italy’s budget includes several measures related to gambling which are expected to raise an additional €1 billion in tax revenues.
The number of online gaming licenses which can be issued has been increased to 120, and the renewal of all gambling licenses will be brought into a common timetable by 2020.
