Pennsylvania

Legislation to provide a regulatory framework for online poker in Pennsylvania has been deferred until Spring 2016, according to reports. State representative John Payne’s office has confirmed that his HB 649 bill will not get a vote in the House until next year.

Pennsylvania has struggled with complex negotiations over the state budget and it was hoped that the revenue generated under HB 649 would provide lawmakers with sufficient incentive to secure a vote on the legislation which successfully made it out of committee in November.
