The news was not good for online poker operators and players in France last week after French politicians considered, but ultimately decided not to vote on amendments to its online poker laws.
The proposal would have allowed the regulator to permit shared liquidity with operators that have regulatory parity with France; candidates included Italy, France and Portugal. There is still hope that the proposal will gain new life in the Senate.
