California Assemblymen Adam Gray and Reginald Jones-Sawyer have sponsored a new bill to regulate online poker in California.

The Poker Consumer Protection Act of 2016, includes most of the provisions in previous online poker bills, but additionally includes a proposal to distribute $60 million in revenues from online poker to the California Horse Racing Internet Poker Account, a figure which appears to be excessive given the potential size of the market.
