Lithuania

The Lithuanian Gaming Control Authority has issued its first online gambling license to TonyBet. TonyBet is based in Lithuania, and was founded by Lithuanian MEP and poker professional, Antanas “TonyG” Guoga.

Three other licenses have been issued, but so far the major operators appear to have taken a negative view of the new regulatory system which obliges them to establish a Lithuanian company before applying for a license.
