PokerStars’ 13th installment of its annual Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has come to a triumphant end, paying out almost $40 million more than what was originally guaranteed.

Ran entirely in April for the first time—much earlier than the usual May slot—the guarantee was set at $100 million for SCOOP 2021 spread over 102 events, each with three buy-in tiers.

Yet again, the festival put on a spectacular performance despite the ultra-high ambitious guarantees set across the board. Almost every event covered including the three No Limit Hold’em Main Events with combined guarantees of $13 million.

According to data compiled by PRO, the series dished out $137,728,872 in prize money. While not superior to last year’s exceptional SCOOP festival that produced an astounding $185 million, it was more than enough to ensure it as one of the richest online tournament series to be ever hosted.
