The operator touted its new Poker 8 platform and Made to Play marketing campaign as helping to boost the online poker platform, as it comes off the back of a record 2020 that saw poker revenue jump almost 50%.

The operator has also confirmed that it still expects to launch online poker with its partner Caesars, under the World Series of Poker (WSOP) brand, in both Michigan and Pennsylvania in the first half of 2021.

“Regarding market launches,” Itai Pazner, 888 Holdings CEO, told investors on the Q1 2021 conference call late last week, “we’re planning to launch in the first half of this year—which basically means in the next couple of months … two additional poker states with our partnership with Caesars and WSOP.”
