iPoker has quietly added a built-in Heads-Up Display feature, dubbed Player HUD, to its poker client following its latest software upgrade.

The HUD on iPoker is based on three key gameplay statistics: The number of flops seen, how good a player is running and how aggressive the player is.

These stats are color-coded with a simple heat-map ranging from green to red. Hovering the mouse cursor over a player’s screen name shows the number of hands played, the player’s current run as well as the percentage of flops seen and aggression frequency.

The built-in HUD has been deployed to several iPoker skins, PRO has learned. It is currently available in cash games and MTT format to all players for free. The feature is currently not supported in Twister, the operator’s lottery sit and go variant, nor traditional sit and gos.

It becomes the fourth major online poker network after GGPoker, Run It Once and Winamax to released its own built-in HUD.

“We are happy to see another useful feature for players on iPoker has gone live!” Joerg Nottebaum, Head of iPoker, told PRO.

“The new HUD is part of a wider plan to rework the table experience on iPoker! After redesigning avatars, giving the area displaying player name and chip stack a makeover and the introduction of a brand new table chat, the new HUD is another element to bring more fun and entertainment to iPoker tables!” he added.
