Entain, parent company of partypoker, will close the distinguished Bestpoker brand at the end of May, PRO understands. The decision follows Entain’s acquisition of its parent company Enlabs last month.

Bestpoker currently operates a skin on iPoker. At the end of the month, these skins will close. The site will remain available for players to withdraw funds.

The decision to shut was because of Entain’s shift towards regulated markets, PRO was told. Bestpoker is licensed offshore in Curacao and focuses on the Russian market.

“This decision was made because Enlabs have become part of the Entain family (Partypoker owners) recently,” an affiliate manager for Entain told PRO. “Therefore, we refuse to work with brands licensed in Curacao,” the statement read, as Entain was “moving into the field of regulated markets.”
