WPN’s most audacious tournament, The Venom, will return for its seventh edition this summer with a record-breaking $10 million guarantee, the offshore US-facing poker network has announced.
Scheduled to run from July 23, it will be the operator’s first eight-figure guaranteed tournament and the largest tournament held by any operator post-Black Friday that is open to players from the US.
As seen in every edition, the format and the buy-in will be the same: There will be four Day 1 flights spread over ten days, with each flight costing the usual $2650 to enter. Players can re-enter as many times as they would like to.
Surviving players will compete against each other on August 2 and the winner will be crowned on August 4. Top two finishers are guaranteed to win at least $1 million.
