They will be giving away $1 million in tickets via the Road to WCOOP campaign which kicked off on Monday and runs until August 21. Prior to the flagship festival, PokerStars will also be hosting the 50/50 WCOOP Series from August 1 spanning over two weeks in which players can win $5,200 WCOOP Main Event-H tickets.
It is the earliest time the annual showdown has been announced by the online poker giant. PokerStars has also set another milestone, with $100 million in prize money guaranteed—the largest in WCOOP history. It is yet another throwing punch in the ongoing battle with rising contender GGPoker.
