Global online poker operator 888poker will continue to resume its live poker activities from next month.
From August 16 to 22, the popular mid-stakes circuit 888poker LIVE returns to Bucharest. The event will be hosted in cooperation with PokerFest, which runs all major live poker tournaments in Romania.
The festival consists of 15 individual events with buy-ins ranging between €45 and €1,400. All tournaments will feature the big blind ante format and a 30-second shot clock.
The crown jewel of the schedule is the €888 Main Event, which runs from August 18 to 22. It features three starting days and the winner will receive an 888Live package on top of the prize money. The flagship tournament boasts two regular starting days with levels of 40 minutes each and a turbo heat prior to Day 2 with a shortened level duration of 20 minutes.
