Sky Poker has revealed on its community forum that the planned migration onto the PokerStars platform, as touted since 2018, has been put “on hold.” There are no plans for the migration to happen for at least a year.

The Stars Group, PokerStars’ parent company at the time, acquired Sky Betting and Gaming (SBG), which includes the Sky Bet and Sky Casino brands, as well as the smaller bingo and poker sites, in late 2018.

Plans to migrate the Sky Poker brand into PokerStars were said to cement the pair as “the world’s favorite iGaming destination.”
