888poker’s final major online poker series of 2021 has come to an end. Through 28 tournaments spread across 24 days, the WPTDeepStacks London Online Series distributed more than $3.4 million in prize money, PRO can reveal.
It was the second time in the current year that the series took place on the global dot-com market, as both brands further strengthened their partnership. The operator raised the bar in comparison to the inaugural edition that took place in April.
Unlike earlier in 2021, the series ran as a standalone festival, while the first edition took place alongside the WPTDS Iberia Online and WPTDS Italy Online. Its combined Portugal and Spain network, and the segregated Italian online poker room, both hosted online editions of their respective regional tours, while the main focus was almost entirely on the global dot-com platform.
