MGM Resorts International is buying out Boyd Gaming’s 50% share in the Borgata, it was announced Tuesday.
The deal which is scheduled to close in Q3 will make MGM the sole owner of Atlantic City’s most popular casino including its online gaming operation in New Jersey. Though MGM was a 50/50 partner, Boyd has had the responsibility of managing the property.
