The World Poker Tour has officially announced its North America schedule for the remainder of the current year.

Another seven Main Tour Stops on US soil are set in stone, as per the press release from last week. They are joined by a WPTDeepStacks Event and a first-ever online Heads-Up Championship later in June.

The announcement comes fresh off the back of the recently concluded Season XVIII hosting the largest Main Tour field in history. The seven upcoming WPT Main Tour stops are all part of Season XIX already, which will see the brand return to many familiar venues. For now, the North American schedule for the remainder of the year does not contain a stop in Canada yet.

However, further festivals in 2021 may be added down the road with COVID-19 related restrictions in the US slowly subsiding. Further Season XIX events for 2022 will be announced at a later date.

“As we emerge from restrictions throughout North America we have bolstered the momentum from last season’s historic numbers and are eager to meet the great demand for WPT events leading up to our twenty-year anniversary in 2022,” said Adam Pliska, CEO of the World Poker Tour.
