A five-day part-time soft launch followed by a full launch for the final 11 days of March was enough time for the worldwide leader in online poker to capture a quarter of the New Jersey online poker market, according to figures reported Wednesday by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

In all, PokerStars generated almost $600,000 from online poker in the Garden State. Overall, the addition of PokerStars produced a 23.4% increase in the market over February figures and a 10.5% increase over March of last year.
