After a rocky start in the first days of the regulated market opening, GGPoker has this week trumpeted its full launch in the Netherlands after what it called a soft-launch period since October 1.

Two out of three operators approved for online poker launched their operations early this month. However, early technical issues, including problems with the centralized database for self-exclusion (CRUKS), hampered the launch.

“Any delays encountered by new GGPoker.nl players during the soft launch period have now been resolved,” GGPoker stated in a press release on Wednesday, “and the account set up and funding processes have been streamlined wherever possible.”
