PokerStars has announced that the highly anticipated PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) event will be returning for its second edition in 2023 — not to Barcelona, but to the Bahamas, going back to its original roots.
While it goes back to the Caribbean region for its second edition, however, this time around, the venue is set at the Baha Mar Hotel & Resort, Nassau. The event takes place in January 2023. The inaugural PSPC event was held in the same country, but on a different island, at the Atlantis Casino and Resort back in January 2019.
The operator has also confirmed that the flagship PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) tour will return and accompany the PSPC at the same venue, with PCA taking place first, followed by the $25K buy-in PSPC event in late January. Both events will be returning after a hiatus of four years.
Dates for the European Poker Tour (EPT) stops in Barcelona and Prague have also been confirmed for 2022 as well as the operator’s regional tours in Europe — making a return after five years.

“We have missed our live events as much as our players, so it is our true pleasure to announce the PokerStars Players Championship will take place at Baha Mar in January,” said Severin Rasset, Managing Director & Commercial Officer, PokerStars. “Beautiful location, hundreds of qualifiers, with millions to win. If there is one tournament to choose for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it will be the PSPC. We will provide more details soon on how to get your hands on a Platinum Pass — stay tuned!”
