The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival is in full swing at the Baha Mar Resort in the tropical paradise of the Bahamas, with the prestigious Main Event concluding last night.
With its usual $10,000 buy-in, the event drew 889 entries to create a massive prize pool of $8,623,300. It makes it the largest prize pool since 2014 and also beats the turnout of the last edition held in 2019 by 2.77%.
Players were permitted one re-entry per opening flight. With two Day 1s and late registration allowed in the early levels on Day 2, it was theoretically possible to enter six times. Indeed, 377 of the total turnout were re-entries, accounting for nearly 40% of the field, and 512 were unique.
