888poker has once again teamed up with poker news outlet PokerListings to host the second edition of The Festival Online on its platform.
Kicking off last Sunday, the series runs for over three weeks with $1 million in guarantees, up from $700,000 as seen in the previous edition. The bump to the total guarantees has been helped by the expansion to the schedule, featuring 35 tournaments — 14 more than the edition held in July 2022.
But there are various other changes to this year’s schedule. The buy-ins are much cheaper this year, ranging from $5.50 to $525, with an average of $108 per event. In the previous edition, the cheapest tournament cost $22 and the series had an average guarantee of $168 per event.
