Online poker giant PokerStars faced severe disruptions in its US-facing network affecting operations across all of its three poker rooms in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The disruptions began on Wednesday, August 4 and continued through Thursday, August 5, during which the operator carried out an urgent “unscheduled maintenance.”

At around early morning on Wednesday, players began reporting problems such as inability to log in, cards not getting dealt and disconnection issues. The operator immediately responded and halted the games.
