888poker has signed British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. as its new cultural ambassador. This new ambassador joins just in time to help celebrate 888poker’s 20th anniversary, which the operator will be celebrating throughout the year.
Eubank Jr. is the son of former two-division world boxing champion Chris Eubank, but he has also made a name for himself in the boxing world, having won two IBO-super middleweight world champion titles and is currently ranked number one by the World Boxing Association and BoxRec’s in the global middleweight division.
He has a hefty social media following — with a combined 1 million followers on Twitter and Instagram, his social media reach is expected to give 888poker’s brand a nice boost and attract new audiences.
The announcement was made at a live press conference in London last week during the 888poker LIVE London Festival. The London festival is the second 888 LIVE tour in just four months.
