GGPoker has confirmed that it will migrate its Ontario players to the new platform at the end of this month. The new room will be available under the WSOP branding but will use GGPoker’s software.

In an email sent to Ontario players by GGPoker, seen by pokerfuse, starting Friday, September 30, Ontario players will no longer be able to play on its platform with the rest of the world.

Instead, they will be switched to the ring-fenced WSOP.ca site, where they will compete against players from within their province.

It will become the sixth online poker room to launch in the segregated Ontario online poker market, joining 888poker, BetMGM Poker, partypoker, bwin, and PokerStars. It will be the fourth network in the province as BetMGM, party, and bwin share the same player pool.
