- A year after partypoker deleted the Palladium Elite VIP tier, it has been reborn at partypoker New Jersey.
- Players need to earn 10,000 points playing poker or casino games to qualify for the status which is valid to the end of the quarter in which it is earned and for the succeeding quarter.
- The VIP level was removed from the dot-com site in April 2013 as part of partypoker’s shift towards a more recreational player model.

Equity Poker Network Reportedly Closing Accounts of “Aggressive” Players
Players who do not meet “recreational criteria” are being banned from new US-facing poker network.
- PokerHost, which recently moved from Merge to the Equity Poker Network is reportedly terminating the accounts of “aggressive” players.
- Respected 2+2 poster “kahntrutahn” who runs a respected affiliate company reported that the actions are not limited to PokerHost, but are EPN policy.
PPA Seeks Answers From Lock Poker in Open Letter
The dire situation of cash outs at Lock Poker stretching over a year has prompted the PPA to act.
- The Poker Players Alliance has sent an open letter to Lock Poker demanding an explanation for its inability to pay players
- Lock created its own new network, where, as the PPA letter points out, it continues to advertise misleading estimated withdrawal time frames.
- The PPA states that the time estimate on the web site “clearly falls far short in warning new depositors of the significant cashout situation at Lock Poker.”

It seems that UK poker “professional”, Tony “The Hitman” Hakki, isn’t enough of a poker pro to support a family, or even his kids according to a UK court. The ExpressStar reports that long time poker player Hakki was taken to court by his baby mama because he “declines to support his children” and after taking a look at his career on the felt, the three judge Appeals Court let him off the hook.
